OH MY GOD!!

That's right gamers, the new expansion for Magic: the Gathering is so badass that I had to spell out OMG. Zendikar looks and feels like stuff from back in the days of the Tempest and Urza block, but with WAY more bite. Check it out!

Let me show you the cards I will be looking for.

The must have cards for me are the Lullmage Mentor, Eternity Vessel and Lorthos, the Tidemaker.

Update: Of my listed wants I now have Whiplash Trap, Eternity Vessel, Lorthos, the Tidemaker, Celestial Mantle & Lullmage Mentor in my possession.

Still looking for the others, more Lullmages and a few Mindbreak Traps especially

Oh btw... ryan bought 5 more packs and not only got Eldrazi Monument... but mother fucking lotus cobra.

I swear to god he is not that good he just has fucking ridiculous luck.

Btw, I picked up a mindbreak trap, celestial mantle, lotus cobra, blade of the warchief (you better believe that is being used in my vampire deck), and a warren instigator.


Thinking about making a goblin deck now lolz.

How the hell? I guess that long streak of getting nothing you wanted caught up all at once.

Im working on a black/blue deck based around warchief ascension, hedron crabs, and an uber amount of discard traps. I'll let you know how it does.

Oh, and just to let you know how amazing that blade of the bloodchief is... I put it on my 2/3 with death touch... put grappling hook on it... and then started making ryan block and just royally fucked up his creatures, all the while boosting mine.

By the end of the game I had a 20/21 flying, death touch, lifelinker with double strike.

I'd say that sounds like a deal, but I do have a question.

Can I exile spells that have yet to be played? Its wording is vague. What if I want to exile spells from a graveyard?

I will have to look up the exact way the card is played. It is fairly confusing, but extremely potent when played correctly... lemme check.

According to MTGSalvation and MTGFanatic the card is essentially meant to be a beefed up counterspell.

The normal setup is like this:

(1): I play "X" spell you take "X" damage
(2): I play Cancel

But with the introduction of uncounterable cards and cards that create multiple sources of damage you need something bigger

(1): I play Banefire, it can't be countered
or
(1): I play Chandra Ablazes ability to play all instant or sorcery spells from my graveyard without paying their mana cost
(2): I play Mindbreak Trap and exile Banefire/all spells played with Chandra's ability.

Get the idea?

Either way the card wrecks and strait up destroys a lot of shit.
