Before I get all into this... is there anyone who would be willing to call me/get on vent at some point this week to talk to me about what went on in game so I don't go into this blind?

thanks!

Something like this? lol

I think we should have a Hacker movie sit down. I'll teach you the most epic hacker tricks I know....though we may not watch any one movie all the way through lol

Hacker Movie Watch List:
1)Wargames
2)Hackers
3)Swordfish
4)Die Hard 4
5)Cowboy Bebop Movie
6)Real Genius
7)Johnny Mnemonic
8)Ghost in the Shell
9)Mission Impossible
10)Ocean's Eleven

Hacker Music is a genre that is very wide. Stick to foreign bands, the harder to understand the better. Techno is good, but not your traditional beep and whistle techno. It needs plenty of bass and at best should make you feel like you are flowing with the current of an immense energy when you close your eyes.

Good Hacking Supplies:
Fingerless gloves with wrist support
Small supply of floppy disks (half with keylogger and virus programs on board)
USB Flash Drives
Soldering wire and gun
Tazer (trust me)
Gum
Stress Reliever (whether it be a ball to squeeze or coins to flip all hackers have it....its standard.)
Multi-tool with screwdrivers/wire cutters

Additional:
Most hackers have some sort of wrist or eye defect caused by constant exposure to the radiation of monitors and being slumped over keyboards coding for hours.

Also, we were looking at a mounted grappling hook/jaws of life sort of addition in order to rip off armor plating/doors of other cars. I would also like it if we could create a dual gas system in the car we decide.

Almost like what cripples use so that incase something happens to my legs or to the bottom gas petals, I can use the upper ones with my hands to drive/break.

Derrick had the idea last night of having an electro-shock sort of system added to the exterior metal of the car, and having the inside of the car be insulated, so that if someone jumps on the car we can shock the shit/paralyze them.

Yeah, I mentioned the thing about the grappling hook jaws thing at game last time as a neat idea. I was hoping that would hit the table.

As for the additional gas/brake I am ok with an extra set, but if it were to be I would need it to be on the floor of the passenger side. Putting the gas/brake on the dash would be difficult to manage and install, not to mention dangerous in the event someone came crashing through your windshield or someone from inside hit it inadvertently.

An electrified exterior is not a bad idea, though it could prove counterproductive for your team. What I would recommend instead is to arm the gunner with an electro-static pulse to be used in dire straits. Imagine a version of what they used in The Matrix to knock out the sentinels, but instead of being magnetic it is electric. The shock would be so much it would probably kill the battery though.

If you were to go with something like that it would most likely require a secondary battery to power the weapon and after a single use it would go dead.

Sound fair?

Sounds entirely fair to me. And trust me I completely understand how it could be counterproductive to our team, I discussed that with D last night when he suggested it.

Pretty much in these situations we need to not only look at what would be cool to use against enemies, but also what could fuck US over hardcore.

I also heard some talk between Byrd and Zach over a Flamethrower.

Not a bad idea as Fire + Vampire = Ash (and not the Army of Darkness style)

However you are dealing with a situation where if you are in close proximity to the flame you or your party could Rötschreck fairly easily and tear the whole car apart trying to get out.

There was that... and then I was also listening to D about some possible ideas for chainsaws a la Dawn of the Dead... but if we were to botch in such a close proximity it would also be like DotD, and we would cut each other to pieces.

Just a thought.

My personal opinion, and not a direct inference to something planned, stick to what you know.

You know that if you fire a gun a bullet will most likely come out. If you are a good melee fighter, grab a sword and start swinging.

The show of something poorly thought out is too many moving pieces. Keep it simple enough anyone can do it, because remember if there is a gunner seat in the back of the car and Zach is immobilized you don't want everyone going "Shit we can't use the super weapon!"

Something to keep in mind. If the weapons are mounted on the side it will be the driver that is in charge of making the shots count. The gunner will only be squeezing a trigger.

Hence we I went drive, perception, and alertness... want to be sure I can look for the best shot for the dudes behind me. Also why I took some academics so I could work with what trajectory will make the best shot.

Hopefully it pays off as you, Zach and Derrick have to almost work as one unit.

With you as the body, Derrick as the eyes and Zach as the claws to this beast it should be interesting.

One thing I have not heard is what car will be used.

I suggested an Escalade as they are large and have a big engine already, but that doesn't mean it is your only pic.

I want an escalade almost completely similar to this one.

And I am looking for plating very similar to this. I want the front and back to be protected from not only shots from the back, but also from possible attack underneath. The windows will also need to be bulletproof and have plating somewhat similar, possibly not that extensive. I am also wanting there to be extra plating underneath the hood of the escalade to help ensure as little damage as possible to the engine. That is all I have for now, and anyone else that hasn't posted needs to get the fuck on this.

Also, since I am the only one posting, I suggest our team name to be:

Team Blur

Unless any of you other bitches post, this shit is gonna be final in 20 hours.

P.S. Grappling Hook needs some form of electro shock... perhaps electricity through battery power? Thanks for this one J1NX.

yo Negros i think we could use some sort of hatch at the top of the car so we could more easily get to the top of the car in the event we would need to i also think the whole DOD thing would be nice though the risk involved. ill mention the "tombstone" thing like in death race and some type of system as to drop Caltrop esk things or sludge of some sort of course we will need some way to store that shit if we did carry it. i think titanium plated rims would be useful for extra protection and my char could use some type of sword or other sharp weapon. ill be back on before the deadline to seewhat els you gus have said and try to think up other stuff that would be useful in the process untill then saty brezzy fellas.

Good addition in the bullet-proof glass. Nobody had mentioned that.

Saikou [Adj.] - the highest; supreme; maximum

I'm still a believer that Japanese is one of the most amazing languages out there.

Very true. They were most awesome indeed.

I intend to post up profiles for the other teams once I get home today. I found some badass looking vehicles.

Good call as to date the only weapons for the car that were mentioned were a grappling cannon and an electrified field.
