ok, so im saddened to say but i cant even finish this movie "Chrysalis"...

I've gotten about 30 min into it and I cant stand it! The storyline seems to be pretty good thus far and the director doesn't seem to be bad, but I cant seem to figure out is the movie dubbed or is not synced right? Every once in a while the words they say almost match with the lip motion of the characters but its like its delayed. Other times however, the words don't match up at all! On top of that the acting is atrocious! Idk if its because the acting itself is terrible or if its because the voices acting is soooo bad it makes you sick to your stomach to even try to listen! i would honestly rather stab myself in the eye with a blender and drink the liquid the my now gaping hole than finish the rest of this movie...

3/10 and im being generous!

tonight i got really bored and noticed that for some reason i had added the 1986 movie, Labyrinth (with david bowie). not gunna lie, slightly disappointed. David bowie was the only one aside from the puppets who sang the entire time, there were no tit scenes @ all, and there was more Db junk than you could shake a stick at. As a whole i was honestly expecting more singing, because i was lead to believe that it was a musical but eh... alittle singing never hurt anyone...

I noticed this thread hasnt been used in a while so I figured i'd bring back some life to it. I'm watching "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow". Ooh! Thus far not a bad movie, but i've seen better. I'm not quite halfway thru but, idk how much more i can watch. You see i have this seething hatred for Gwyneth Paltrow. The woman couldn't act her way out of a paper bag! If anything I, without any prior training, could make a better ACTRESS not ACTOR (me being a guy) but Actress. I just had to get on and rant about how bad this fucking cunts acting is and how much it is turning me off of a perfectly good movie.

I liked sky captain, but mostly because it reminded me of the golden age superman show where he was fighting evil scientists with giant robots and such.

As for the acting though it did leave something to be desired.

Blow... PeeWee M F'n Herman is a gay drug dealer! The movie as a whole was amazing! They kept giving you ups and downs, soon you forget your watching a 2 hour movie and are soo wrapped up in the story you feel like you are living it yourself. Fuckin A!

Amazing acting, characters are full, story line is amazing! But there are too many bitches! By that i mean both men and female, but mostly female...

Pandorum: Prob one of the worst alien(esk) type movies i've seen in a while! Let me just save you an hour and a half.

Planet Earth is getting too populated so a space station is sent into space to a newly found planet that can allegedly support life. Shortly after shooting off, the station (Elysium, or i think thats how they spelled it) got a transmission that said something to the extent of "your all we've got now" and then all traces of earth were gone. One of the crew members had a nervous break down and decided to kill his superior officers and a few of the crew and become "God" by feeding their bodies into the hypersleep feeding tubes (Dont know how), but the tubes then fed the people who were in sed tubes turning them into "horrible, flesh eating, monsters"

When the story picks up its a lieutenant and a corporal who wake from they're hyper sleep years after what they were supposed to. Short Story: the Corporal (who stayed in one spot the entire time) turns out to be the original crew member who decided to become god, and the space station had actually crashed into the planet years before but since they were under water no one knew.

All in all, the storyline was shit! the directing was almost as bad, and the acting was nothing to be proud of. The only good thing i saw was there was 3 actors i saw i remembered. 2 of which idk what they're known for, but the last was one of the brothers from Boondock Saints. But you didnt see him for more than 10 min tops

Superman Vs. Doomsday: Why do they call it superman vs doomsday if they only show that fight for about 30 min? They should have called it superman vs supermans clone!

All in all not a bad movie, they could have used a little work on the voice acting but as a whole not too bad honestly.

im actually thinking of starting a new thread and just calling it movie time, and thats where i would move all my movie reviews to. i really dont see a point in starting a new thread for every single movie i critique because i think that would become tedious and perpetual
