I've been looking into getting a GPS device, but I'm not entirely sure which one to get.
This is at the top of the list currently. Fortunately, I'm gifted enough to have friends who know these things, especially Trick. I wanted to get some of your inputs on this.

Yeah..Garmin is by far the best...I do have to agree with what one of the guys reviewing it said in the cons: "slow to start up." Only thing I could add to that is with mine sometimes it takes a few minutes to locate the destination before it's ready to go.

I have the garmin 330...much older and bulkier model, but nonetheless a very nice piece of eq.

On a side note...I highly recommend that after your gps gets to be about a year to two years old go online and pay to update the maps. If you don't, it is possible that it'll lead you into a dark chasm somewhere in the pacific....you know how it is...all the road construction...

Instead of a GPS I'm thinking of just paying Trick to ride with me everywhere and read a map book.....that way if we get lost (and we most likely will) I can yell at something that will respond.
