Vista sucks in a special way on 2/27/2008, 7:12 am

I don't know how much you all know about the WGA (Windows Genuine Advantage) that is on all XP and Vista computers, but it sucks. On XP it is an afterthought dreamed up by Microsoft to help control media piracy, problem for them is that because it wasn't in the original EULA (End User License Agreement), it isn't required by the user to enable it on XP. Recently it came to my attention that Vista's EULA is different and includes that you must have the WGA installed in order to run Windows. Just as the upgrade from XP to Vista sucked worldwide, the upgraded WGA is no different. It embeds itself into Windows so deeply that if by chance you try to play a pirated Smashmouth CD you will be reported for media piracy and your copy of windows will lock up to a point where you have to call Microsoft and pay to get them to turn it back on. Pretty shitty, but your good ole buddy is trying to find a way to bypass and possibly disable it without alerting Microsoft. We'll see how that goes. Updates as they come.
