How far did the kitten fall? Assuming a straight drop to a nice, soft floor, allowing it to survive so this isn't a horrible topic.

Somewhere between 15ft - 35ft is survivable at least by a kitten his/her size.

I had a kitten once that in a terrible fit of rage my brother (not Al) decided to fling him over the banister and he fell 25ft to the wood floor below.

Kitten survived with no adverse effects aside from hating him and having a bit of a limp for a few days.
