I heard part of a debate for this on tv, and it got me wondering, which is scarier?

My vote goes for the slow ones. For the simple fact that, while your fighting them, between waves you have time to think. How much ammo you have, how many bandages, supplies, allies left alive. And when you take down 20, wonderful. You see the next 50 coming, cock your gun, realize its empty, and have time to piss yourself before they get to you. You die more afraid with slow ones than fast ones.

Yea, but you have a high chance of death with the faster ones imo. Cause at least with the slow ones, you can evade and avoid, as seen in resident evil.

Also, if you ever play Left 4 Dead, for XboX... you can only agree that the fast ones are scarier. They will come in droves of like 50, barreling at several miles an hour.

Just my personal opinion.

Left 4 Dead's graphics leave quite a bit to be wanted, but the game play is so amazing. Also, it is seriously almost impossible to do Left 4 Dead on any mission choice solo. They have catchers that will hit you with there tongue, pull you back, and unless you have a partner to get to you quick enough and kill them, or break you free, you die. And your npc partners suck at helping you. Srsly.

I dunno. In the RE series there are some honestly frightening moments, but in L4D I was really just annoyed by the zombies

My vote goes for fast zombies and I'll tell you why. Picture this.

When you are pumping away on your rifle picking zombies off left and right and you hear the *click* signaling that your gun is empty you instinctively reach for your sidearm and cap a few more. Putting down as many as one man can muster you realize that the end is coming and you have a choice between becoming the next addition to the mass of evil, shambling hunger and using your grenade to send them all to hell and you with them.

Its a terrible end, but when you must choose between death forever and temporary death and them reanimation where you may be forced to eat your loved ones it comes as a fairly easy choice for some of us. You pull your grenade only to find that the zombies gotten too close for you to even have time to pull the pin.

Gripping the grenade in one hand you realize the futility of it all and know that had you been only a little bit quicker than you might have saved yourself the pain and torment as they rip your flesh from your bones.

Personally, I'd rather die than become one of them. Fast zombies don't give you the option. That is why I find them scary.

Its not a damn list that's in specific order jackass, if it was it would have been stated otherwise with the possibility of some numerical system to rate a particular example to the others.

Sorry, it did seem as though there were an order, and as a mod, its my duty to make sure everyone knows ninjas are faster than lazers. Thats what I get paid for.

So if they are so fast, why would you move them to a position below Lazers?

The list was slowest to fastest. First bears, then tanks, so bears are slower then tanks. I contradicted nothing.
